Today, we celebrate brilliance in motion. Tapiwa Today, we celebrate brilliance in motion.
Tapiwa Gladys Simango is not just a scholar she’s a strategist of care, a builder of inclusive justice, and a voice that refuses silence. From confronting exploitation to uplifting women with disabilities, Tapiwa transforms lived experience into systems change.

Her leadership reminds us:
Research must move.
Advocacy must listen.
 Justice must include.

We honor her courage, her clarity, and her commitment to building spaces where every woman is seen not just for her wounds, but for her wisdom.

@femalestudentsnetworktrust at the @harare_institu @femalestudentsnetworktrust at the @harare_institute_of_technology Health Expo: Centering Care, Awareness, and Action

Today, FSN joined the Harare Institute of Technology’s Health Expo in solidarity with students, staff, and health partners to raise awareness on cancer and holistic wellbeing. Under the theme “Impacting Lives Through Health Education and Donations,” we stood alongside changemakers committed to transforming health narratives through education, screenings, and community care.

As a feminist organization rooted in survivor dignity and youth empowerment, FSN brought forward inclusive messaging, resources, and dialogue that reflect the lived realities of students especially young women navigating tertiary spaces. We honor the courage of survivors and the power of collective action in shaping healthier, safer futures.

💜 Thank you to HIT and all partners for creating space where health is not just a service, but a right.

You are not defined by diagnosis. You are not reduced by pain.
You are a force of resilience, of courage, of rising again.

As Maya Angelou reminds us:
“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”

This October, we stand with every survivor, every fighter, every soul who chooses hope.
Let your story be heard. Let your strength be seen.

Trailblazer. Mentor. FSN Alumna. This #WomanCrush Trailblazer. Mentor. FSN Alumna.
This #WomanCrushWednesday, we celebrate Adele Mcilo a fearless advocate who shattered ceilings as the first female SRC President at Midlands State University. From championing student rights to shaping policy as a published scholar and lecturer, Adele embodies the power of purpose-driven leadership.

Her journey is more than history it’s a living call to action. Through FSN’s Leadership Beyond Institutions Program, Adele continues to nurture young women in leadership, proving that transformation begins when we dare to lead with courage, clarity, and care.

“Leadership is not a title it’s a responsibility to uplift, include, and ignite change.”
Let Adele’s story remind us: the future is shaped by those who rise, reach back, and lead forward.
