12 Mar Historic Milestone for FSN and Parliament of Zimbabwe!
Today, the Female Students Network proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Parliament of Zimbabwe a landmark partnership that places young women at the center of leadership, governance, and national development. This collaboration will: – Empower female students in higher and tertiary institutions through trainings, workshops, and mentorship programs. – Strengthen young women’s leadership by creating platforms for their voices in decision-making spaces. – Enhance gender equality and accountability by working closely with Parliamentary Committees, the Women’s Caucus, and the Youth Caucus. – Provide technical expertise and advocacy tools to ensure that young women are equipped to lead with confidence and integrity. As Hon. Advocate J.F.N. Mudenda, Speaker of Parliament, emphasized: “Parliament’s effectiveness… is immeasurably enhanced through strategic alliances with organisations that bring technical expertise, innovative thinking and authentic connections with the communities we serve.” For FSN, this partnership is more than an agreement it is a commitment to building a generation of female leaders who will shape Zimbabwe’s future with courage, vision, and resilience. Together, we are opening doors for young women to lead, influence, and transform society. FSN #ParliamentOfZimbabwe #WomenInLeadership #GenderEquality #YouthEmpowerment
